Who is Red John?

Theories of Summer spring (1)

I'm not accusing anyone but have two questions:

In season 5 finale, ‘Red John’s Rules’, Jane tells Lisbon that the victim’s name is Eileen Barlow, who after her parents were killed in a car accident, was raised by her uncle Sean. He does not specify that Sean is her paternal uncle or her maternal uncle. But in response Lisbon asks Jane if he thinks that Eileen’s murder is connected to “Sean Barlow”. I know it may be a simple assumption on her side or maybe Heller did not pay enough attention when he was writing the script for the episode, but still how could Lisbon know that Sean is Eileen’s paternal uncle, and hence is a Barlow? Am I missing something here?

This must have been mentioned before, but in season 2 finale, ’Red Sky in the Morning’, When supposedly Red John himself comes and kills his copycats and rescues Jane, the shape and height of the heels of RJ’s boots, how RJ walks, the size of RJ’s hands which appears to be much smaller than his supposed rough hands as described by Rosalind Harker, the way RJ touches Jane’s chest, all have feminine characteristics. So is there a small possibility that this character was not RJ or that RJ is a woman?
